Below you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about Camping Aourir and about Morocco as a country and culture. If your most burning questions are not listed and you cannot find the answer elsewhere, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Space for large motorhomes?

Yes, we also have space for large motorhomes longer than 6 meters. We often have expedition motorhomes — all-wheel drive motorhomes with 3 axles or even converted buses. There will be always a suitable camping pitch.

How far is it to the seaside?

The campsite is located approx. 1.5 km outside the city limits of Aourir, in the direction of the mountains and the Paradise village or the waterfalls of Imouzzer des Ida-Outanane. The beach of Aourir is about 6 km from the campsite and can be reached in about 5-10 minutes by car.

Do I have to make a reservation?

Normally you do not need to make a reservation if you come with a motorhome, caravan or tent. We are not a large campsite, but we are not so crowded that we run out of pitches. In the high season between November and March it can get a bit full at peak times — especially around Christmas and New Year — but even then we are never completely booked up.

This is different with the apartments — if you want to rent one of our three apartments, an inquiry and a reservation is a service.

Is electricity included in the pitch costs?

No, the electricity costs are not included in the pitch costs and must be paid separately. Electricity can be booked on a daily basis and costs 25 DH for 10 amperes.

Are there discounts for groups?

Yes, under certain circumstances there are price reductions for larger groups. The group leaders will then spend the night for free and the pitch costs including electricity are reduced.

However, this must be confirmed and discussed in advance.

Does the campsite offer activities?

Our campsite is a simple campsite and we only offer a few leisure activities. You can experience the following activities with us.

Swimming pool
We have a swimming pool which is free of charge for our guests. There is no guarantee that the swimming pool is always open – but it is our endeavor that it is always available.

Restaurant
A small and low priced restaurant with a terrace where you can spend as much time as you like. Ordered meals can also be brought to the pitch.

Free Wifi
We have Wifi, which can also be used free of charge by the camping guests. The best wifi zone is in the restaurant and reception area.

Playing Boules
There is a small boules court where camping guests can meet up to play boules together. However, this is generally tolerated in many open spaces as long as no camping guests are disturbed.

Surrounding Area
Hikes, walks and cycle tours in the surrounding area are recommended. If there is greater interest, we can also organize guided hikes to particularly beautiful places, with catering outside the campsite on request.

Socializing
Depending on the motivation of the camping guests, we also organize afternoons where we do something together. This could be a cooking course, playing boules, hiking or making music together and enjoying a cozy get-together with coffee and cake.

Extension of the tourist residence permission?

If you want to extend your residence permission after 3 months, you can do this with us. We will take care of the formalities together with you. Please contact the reception for this.
