Vernissage of female painters of the Talayet Group

On Sunday, March 23rd, we were invited to an interesting vernissage at the Talayte Group of female painters in Alma.

Alma is a small village and you will find it about 8 km behind Aourir, towards Paradise Valley and Imouzzer des Ida-Outanane with its famous waterfall.

In Alma there is a group of women who paint beautiful pictures in their leisure time with much desire and fantasy! The reason for the exhibition was the handing over of a separate building for the women’s painting group. The studio building is equipped with a work and an exhibition room. All paintings of the Talayte Group are of course also for sale!

At the Talayte Group’s vernissage, there was a lot going on, many visitors and in addition a catering with tea and sweet pastries. We really liked it a lot and we would like to thank the Talayte Group of female painters from Alma! We keep our fingers crossed that everything is going well and that the awareness and sale of the works of art is developing well.

Surely you’re wondering what the name or term “TALAYTE” means? I enlighten you hereby. The name or term “TALAYTE” means “grape” and comes from the Berber language.
